my parents have it so easy. they take total advantage of the fact that i have no desire to become a crack whore. hahha so from now on i'm gonna be a proper rebellious teenager!

my latest discovery: ashlee simpson. my obsession with her music is shameless and blissful. i don't care what the skeptics out there say, her songs are fabulously catchy and motivating. i never thought i'd make one of these things. because however elitist it sounds i think these things are just an opportunity for people to explore their inner bitchy narcissist. and there seems to be two distinct people you can sound like on these things: the pretend suicidal annoying narcissist, or the stuck up read- something-about-a-long-dead-philosopher-once-and-now-calls-themself-intellectual annoying narcissist. and i definitely don't want to be and hope i'm not either one of those kinds of people. well i guess sounding narcissistic on a blog is unavoidable. so whatever, here it goes. to whoever, if anyone reads this, hi. i got home from water polo practice a few hours ago. it's a cool sport but it's super competitive, which usually i'm not . i play sports, but they aren't my life. i couldn't handle that. having a tight schedule to follow constantly. spontinaity (however the hell you spell it) makes me so happy. school starts in a few days. i'm gonna have to cliff notes one of my summer reading books, i'm too slow of a reader. unless of course the new georgia nickelson book is out then i read it in like a day. i love teenage diary books. and you know after i read it, i realized that some of the books i read for school are pretty good, but my school seems to be incapable of picking any lighthearted books, which is understandable, but it's hard to get through a tragedy in the summer. i've fallen in love with elton john songs lately, i'm such a sap. oh but they're wonderful.. "tiny dancer," a song i grew up listening to, "mona lisas and mad hatters," "your song". fabulous. talking to my friend blakely. everyone should have a friend like her. she's energetic and funny and totally unashamed of her valley girl side. hahah. hmm okay talking to my friends is more interesting at the moment, see ya
